A real fruit fly brain plays 3D Pinball.
Switch brains in the Brain menu.
1) Giant-fiber body (default, untrained)
The fly's own escape reflex: looming-detector neurons, each watching
its own spot along the flipper, drive the giant fiber, which
normally makes the fly jump. Here it hits the flipper. Shuffle its wiring and it plays worse.
2) Popcode brain (trained)
444 neurons from the same connectome plus a small trained
readout. Plays about as well, but here training does the
work, not the wiring.
Play yourself: Options > Manual Play (Z / slash).
You can definitely beat a fruit fly... right?
